The Guide to Australian Marine Life-2

In this chapter we find out there are more habitats besides open sea in which sea life thrive and survive. Estuaries and mangrove forests keep the coasts safe from storms and rough waves. In places where there are no walls or estuaries, the ocean scrapes away at the mainland, transforming it into a large cliff face. The habitat that I found most interesting was the tidal waterfalls. Depending on the time of day, the waterfall is either on one side or the other! I hope to find out what awesome creature live in these environments...
